Was hoping to get a bit write up done for the news feed today for the Ireland game on Wednesday but time is short this week.
What do people think going into it? Will Ireland struggle as they all to often seem to? Is there anything or anyone you are looking out from an Irish perspective?
Bit odd the Nations League. I never thought I would see Ireland “relegated”, now I get to see it twice!
certainly is a strange concept, an auld relegation might see us win a few games in time.

There were moments in the first half that looked promising, but two errors from the goalkeeper gifted Ireland goals. Second half was very scrappy football and not the most exciting.
I thought Azaz had a good first half and looks like he could be a decent player. It would be great to have Ferguson fit and starting each game. I think it would suit Ireland’s style of play to have him as a target man. The long ball over the top is frustrating but it’s the way Ireland play.
Happy with the win and I’ll take the win when we get it, but still a long way to go before they are qualifying comfortably for Euros/world cups.
I saw some things that where positive tonight, winning makes a change
Ferguson looked sharp when he was on. He was lucky not to have his leg broken towards the end.
