What’s everyone’s thoughts on Englands squad selection under Tuchel? I don’t see the need for four goalkeepers.
I was surprised to see Burn and Henderson in the squad, but maybe it’s Tuchels way of adding experience to the squad, I think someone like
Branthwaite should be included for Fridays game. Although Dan Burn has been playing for Newcastle this season and Sunday proved the goal threat he has on set pieces.
Is it a team that could win a major trophy or does Tuchel need to add / remove some players. Who’s missing from the squad?
It looks like a squad that will suit Tuchels style of football. It may not be an exciting watch but could be a squad to get the job done.

I think we won’t see much of Henderson but I like the Burn call up though, as you say has a goal in him.
It’ll be interesting to see the starying 11 on Friday, I think either way Emgland come out of that game easy.
I think we will get a better read in them after this round of internationals.
My gut feeling about England is that they are very close to winni g a major tournament, but i do think they need to do it soon or else the chance could pass them by, they have a lot of quality.
As a coach I like Tuchel, and i think he is a good choice.
I think the selection is a fair reflection of the players in form for the most part. Previous selections under Southgate were often top 6 team biased or based on historical England performance. Harry Maguire for example who was struggling to get into the United team continued to feature heavily for Southgate.
It’s nice to see the addition of Morgan Gibbs-White even as a replacement as he’s been brilliant for Forest this season. Same with Konsa and Rogers for Villa. I think Reece James, Walker and Henderson and there purely for experience in the dressing room and to help Tuchel settle in. I don’t see them being part of Tuchels plans for tournament football.
Without doubt Trent, Saka and Mainoo will take some of those places when fit
